As an IT Systems Support Engineer, you will:
- round-the-clock monitoring of the availability and performance of IT systems and applications;
- prompt response to incidents and emergencies;
- Initial diagnostics of problems: analysis of logs, application status, operating systems and databases;
- performing recovery actions in accordance with the instructions and the Runbook;
- monitoring the availability and performance of services after recovery;
- registration and documentation of incidents, timely escalation to L3/L4 and vendors;
- Collaborate with related technical teams to diagnose and resolve incidents
- support of changes and technical work on Production, Preprod and Test environments.
What is required for work:
- experience in technical support or operation of IT systems from 1 year;
- readiness to work on a shift schedule 24×7, including night shifts, weekends and holidays;
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix: working with processes and services, log analysis, basic resource and network diagnostics;
- knowledge of SQL at the level of diagnostic queries, basic understanding of Oracle/PostgreSQL;
- understanding of the principles of operation of application servers and middleware: JBoss/WildFly, Payara/GlassFish, Tomcat or similar solutions;
- Understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, TLS and basic skills in diagnosing network interaction;
- Understanding of Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management processes;
- the ability to work according to the Runbook/SOP, independently make initial decisions in case of incidents and escalate in a timely manner.
